Linebacker T.J. Slaughter, a starter for a good portion of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars before being released Oct. 28, has signed a free-agent contract with the Green Bay Packers.
The 6-foot, 233-pound Slaughter started 29 of 42 games for the Jaguars since being drafted in the third round in 2000, but was released after being arrested Oct. 26 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Jacksonville
