What is going on in Gilbride's head?

As it appears the Bills season is beyond repair I just can't help wonder what the heck is going on in Gilbride's head. It was no secret that Buffalo wanted to run the ball more this year. TD brought in players for a run oriented offense like Campbell and Gash and released pass oriented players like Riemersma and Centers. TD and GW said the Bills will run more, the players said the Bills are going to run more...yet through all of this Gilbride defies everybody no matter how the offense is built for and runs a pass oriented offense.
Even with the team struggling he still refuses to change his ways. He ignores his bosses wishes (TD and GW) and he doesn't change ways when his pass first mentality is not just failing but failing in ways we never thought was possible. I just don't get on what is going through his head and why TD and GW let the season just and let Gilbride get away with it.

What does KG have on TD and GW that they let him get away with it?!?!?

I would imagine there's just a hollow reverberating off the inner walls of his skull lining. Can't be sure tho.

I'm sure there's not a lot of grey matter, probably just a bunch of marbles or something.

Perhaps it's just the sound of crickets chirping up in there.
