Mike Vick's long awaited return grew much closer Wednesday when the Falcons injured quarterback practiced for the first time since he fractured his right fibula Aug. 16.
Vick, who was voted to the Pro Bowl last season after passing for 2,936 yards and 16 touchdowns and rushing for 777 yards and eight more scores, is not expected to play Sunday when the Falcons (2-7) play at New Orleans (4-5). He has said, and logic dictates, that he'll need at least two weeks of practice before he can play again.
He said nothing after practice to change that.
