After a frosty send-off in Cleveland, Kevin Johnson was greeted warmly by the Jaguars on Wednesday.
The veteran wide receiver was claimed off waivers barely 24 hours after his abrupt release by the Browns, and the Jaguars made it clear right away that they don't share Cleveland coach Butch Davis' low opinion of Johnson.
"All our concerns about [Johnson] have been answered," said James Harris, the Jaguars' vice president of player personnel. "We're going to give him another opportunity to be a professional. We're moving forward."
