The Patriots gave Dallas something to think about yesterday as nose tackle Ted Washington and linebacker Ted Johnson were held out of practice after each had been cleared to rejoin their teammates this week.
It's not known if Johnson (foot) or Washington (leg) had setbacks or are merely being rested as they recover from broken bones suffered the first two weeks of the season. Both players practiced with the Pats on Tuesday and Wednesday. They remain questionable on the injury report.
Washington has already said he will play against the Cowboys while Johnson has also expressed hope that he'll return Sunday.
