We didnt win the superbowl, Greg and Gilbride are gone, what do we do know? WE DRAFT HIGH!!! WOOOHOOO

Is it Will Smith,DE Ohio State;Roy Williams,Larry Fitzgerald,JP Losman, Eli Manning..who?

Here is Mel Kipers(minus underclassman) :http://espn.go.com/melkiper/

I say Fitzgerald, even if we have to trade up and get him. Unless Eli is there.

Whatta ya think?

I'll never cheer for drafting high even if the Bills have lost 15 straight and they need to lose last game of season to knock Fins out of playoffs.

Speculation of players for draft are silly until we see results of season including who is in charge next year and draft order.

Larry Fitzgerald is only a Sophmore and won't become eligible unless he challengs the rule an dhe actually says he's having fun at college an dmay stay at least another year.

Gotta go with Eli !!! Sign some O Lineman that can provide more than 2 seconds of pass protection and open up running lanes through free agency.

This is from Peter King on the Radio earlier this week.

On Pitt WR Fitzpatrick- Thinks if he was in this year's draft- would be a top 5 pick- and some NFL personnel people rank him as the #1 guy in college right now- ahead of Roy Williams. Also thinks there is a good possibility he will be in this season's draft. The family is manuvering to see if his one year at a Military School would make him elligible. Also depends if Maurice Clarrett fights and wins to get in the draft.

So, assuming he IS available, do we get him?

If we cant sign a good DE I also say Sean Taylor... Can you imagine a secondary of Clements, WInfield, Milloy, and Taylor. Thats pretty damn good.

I would love to see what Will Smith can do out at DE.

I also have heard about the military school debate. If Fitzgerald is there it would be pretty damn hard to pass on him.

I also would rather pickup a FA qb rather then drafting one. If we draft one it would have to be soon. Give him some time under Drew to learn the system.

I'm assuming Buffalo will be closer to the middle of the first round than the top. With that in mind, I'm probably drafting Will Smith.

While Buffalo needs to be thinking QB of the future, I don't think that should be a first rounder. If JP Losman is around in round 2, which is debatable at present, I'd take him in a heartbeat. I think that KG is probably more at fault for the offensive malaise than DB, especially after reading Ingtar's article.

I adhere to the conventional wisdom that you don't usually draft safeties or interior offensive linemen in round one.

It's pretty clear that Buffalo has a tough time getting pressure on the QB. If they had DEs that could do that they would likely have the top ranked D in the league and have a marked increase in forcing turnovers. Thus I think Will Smith would have the greatest immediate impact on the team.

can we trade our first for someone like parcells?

Depends on FA. TD has already shown that needs sometimes take a back seat to "best player available". I've watched a ton of college football this year and the few players I want in the first:

1) S Sean Taylor (Miami, Fla)
2) WR Larry Fitzgerald (Pitt)
3) OT Robert Gallery (Iowa)
4) DL Darnell Dockett (Fla St)
5) CB Chris Gamble (Ohio St)

Fun or no, Fitzgerald is technically eligible because he took a year off between high school and college. Thus, as a true sophomore, he is three years removed from high school graduation. And he is eligible, and the NFL can let him in without him filing a lawsuit.

i'd say top priority is a stud defensive end, but first and foremost, get rid of this god awful coaching staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet we'll be picking high enough to get Eli Manning.

I can't see us winning any more than 2 games, if we're REALLY lucky, for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately for us, Arizona needs a QB so they will probably get Manning.

Arizona will not takin Manning they have young Josh McCown as their future QB. As for our needs they go like this:
DE
OG
QB
OC
WR
DT
FS

Ingtar33

no, Arazona has already decided that McCown is a bust and are planning on taking QB

Isn't that the truth he was something like 4/11 with 2 int's at one point in today's game.

DraftBoy

Doubtful he leaves though. If he did I take this kid in a heartbeat but I wouldnt expect him to fall past #1. I have only 2 people I would like to take at our pick as it would be right now:
1. Will Smith
2. Sean Taylor

Thats it. OG, QB, and OC can be taken care of in the next few rounds.

i'd like to see us nab Casey Clausen, he could be something special

Well, i never said where they'd sellect a QB...

Arazona being Arazona they'd likely trade away the pick to NE and then draft two 2nd, 3rd round tallent peopl in th first round

This is who I want!!!!!!!!!!! OL can be addressed in FA. We need a DE that can get at the passer. that is the one thing that our D needs badly.

Who does Will Smith compare to that is in the league right now? I haven't heard anything about him. He doesn't seem to be garnering the same amount of publicity that other DE's have in the past.

Will Smith is really good but that whole front line of Ohio States is great. H ecould be great because of eachother but who knows.

Will Smith compares to Dwight Freeney in his size. As for his intensity or tanascity I would go with Jason Taylor, due to his never ending motor. Hes really quick and has an eye for the ball. He can both make plays behind the line and after it.

TigerJ

Will Smith is listed anywhere from 250 lbs to 265 lbs. The 265 is either an exageration or a more up to date figure. If it's the latter, he's got decent size. Who knows, he might even be able to carry another 10 lbs. and play at 275. He's also three inches taller than Freeney. Freeney is faster though. Will Smith is supposed to be very strong for his size too. He's had a lot more productive season than Pollack has had for Georgia.
