Several young Bills defensive linemen have played well to start the season, but the line needs to improve as a whole. Rookie DT Justin Bannan and rookie DE Grant Irons got good reviews from DL coach John Levra, who is also pleased with the progress of starting DRE Aaron Schobel and starting DT Ron Edwards. Levra told PFW that the line play overall has pleased the coaches, "because we’re getting some pretty good pass rushes and getting a little pressure on the quarterback at times. But we’ve got to do a better job of stopping the run. We’re giving up too many big plays."
The Bills are quite pleased with the continued development of CB Chris Watson, Buffalo’s nickel specialist. Watson was acquired via trade with Denver in 2000 to be the Bills’ return specialist. But Watson never emerged in that role and instead has become a decent nickel cornerback for the team.
THis one is funny
