Several young Bills defensive linemen have played well to start the season, but the line needs to improve as a whole. Rookie DT Justin Bannan and rookie DE Grant Irons got good reviews from DL coach John Levra, who is also pleased with the progress of starting DRE Aaron Schobel and starting DT Ron Edwards. Levra told PFW that the line play overall has pleased the coaches, "because we’re getting some pretty good pass rushes and getting a little pressure on the quarterback at times. But we’ve got to do a better job of stopping the run. We’re giving up too many big plays."

The Bills are quite pleased with the continued development of CB Chris Watson, Buffalo’s nickel specialist. Watson was acquired via trade with Denver in 2000 to be the Bills’ return specialist. But Watson never emerged in that role and instead has become a decent nickel cornerback for the team.

THis one is funny :lol:

from the same article:

"While Dolphins RB Ricky Williams has stayed incident-free since several run-ins with Fort Lauderdale, Fla., police earlier this year, we hear he has become bored living in Fort Lauderdale and is entertaining the notion of moving to South Beach for the excitement and social life. Does this mean Williams is headed for trouble? Not necessarily. But thus far, Williams has impressed his new team with his work ethic, maturity and dedication to practices and meetings, and moving to South Beach for the social life might not exude maturity in the Dolphins’ eyes. "

PFW is starting to sound like a tabloid!

What on earth is TD or GW supposed to say;

"We know he sucks. We just don't have too many options right now. We really $%#&#+ up on this one! As soon as we can get away and find a few minutes we'll go scan the waiver wire. Just don't tell Chris please."

LOL

I think we may be spoiled from having excellent DB play for the last 10-15 years.

For everyone complaining about Chris Watson, there is far worse out there that we could be depended on as our NB.

He's certaintly better than anyone else we have, and he's better than what most other teams have. One of the reasons he's getting picked on as much is because they don't wanna throw Winfields or Clements direction, so they HAVE to do their game planning against Watson.

He's had troubles but we could far worse off then we are.

They're throwing plenty at Winfield and Clements. More even I'd say. You also have to remember that Watson isn't even in there on every play, so when he gives up more than W & C that it really makes a statement.

Just watch him next game. Watch him on the replays when the ball doesn't come his way and pay particular attention to what he's doing. His play speaks for itself...

Very little is being thrown Clements' way. That's a testament to how good he is.
