Obviously our coaching staff isn't smart enough to slide him in under the radar and play him. But seeing that he is active he should be accounted for on the IR right?
Shouldn't McGahee be on the injury list this week?

I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but if you're asking if he should either play or be put on IR, here is your answer:
If he's on IR, he cannot practice with the team.
Even though he is "active" and practicing, he is not fully recovered both in body AND mind. Reports are that he's hesitant and not explosive.Still searching for that offensive rhythm.

I understand that he may not be ready to play. BUT, if he is out due to his injury shouldn't he be listed on the injury list as OUT? Or questionable or whatever."Well I drink too much and get punched in the head by fighters for fun, so my memory isn't so great." -OpIv37
