but I'm going to watch some racing...there's 30 laps left and I haven't looked at a NASCAR event in 11 weeks.

Sunday is about FOOTBALL! How come three out of four channels are showing miscellaneous crap?!?!? I've got gay figure skatng on ABC. Freaking redneck NASCAR racing on NBC. Golf, which isn't even a sport, on CBS. The only dumb game I can watch now is Tampon Bay!:mad: Where are the Cowboys? Or how about the Chargers? Who the hell wants to watch the Bucs and the Packers? I sure as hell don't!

Oh, absolutely! I really hate to see anyone get hurt. Even in football I don't like to see any of the opposing players hurt. That's pretty poor sportsmanship, IMO.

I don't like the wrecks...too much goes into being in competition...it's much better if the race goes flag to flag and is hot the whole time. I have seen some races like that. It makes being a race fan worth while.

I always thought NASCAR sucked. It's way boring. But I hear that if you go to a race, you're converted. Something about hearing tires squeal and being covered with flecks of rubber or something that gets people off. So I guess I can't knock it 'til I've tried it. But since I still think NASCAR sucks and I don't want to like it, I'll be on the safe side and never going to a race.

BTW, ever watched TLC's "What Not To Wear". It's a hoot. They're gonna broadcast a marathon the day after Thanksgiving.
