I don't think Winfield is expendable at all, bf1. Here's the thing. Given the choice of:

re-signing Winfield to a hefty contract

or

using available FA $$ to land a pass rushing DE and a quality C

there's no choice for me. We need the help up front more than we need to commit a ton of $ to Winfield. Tough choice, but I'd make it.

I think most people have been saying the same thing as R. Rich.

My thinking is that Winfield is a solid corner, but with the calibre of FA CB's out there next year, if we're going to give up a lot of money for a CB, I'd rather we take a look at one of them first.
