OTTAWA -- It defies all logic. At this stage of the season, the Ottawa Senators, with all their talent and all their expectations of glory, have exactly the same number of points as the Montreal Canadiens.

Granted, the Senators have three games in hand. But really, there is no way the Canadiens should be within shouting distance, games in hand or not.

Jose Theodore looks to be back on track for the Canadiens, but mind you, 3 games can get you 6 points...

Or better, if you're playing in your division

I am shocked as all Hell that the Sens are not performing better. I know that they have some injuries, but to have the same amount of pts overall as Buffalo should be a shame to them. They're the favorite of many to win the Cup (Me included). We shall see if Buffalo can hold them down tonight. I'm expecting a tie.

The Northeast is the toughest division in hockey. The broons will come down to earth by Christmas and we should see a very exciting 5-way dogfight until the end of the year.
