David Carr managed to toss around a few jokes during his postgame news conference.
He just couldn't toss a football.
Carr was forced to leave the game and did not return Sunday after injuring his right shoulder late in the first quarter of the Texans' 12-10 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
The preliminary diagnosis is a bruise to his throwing shoulder. Carr is scheduled to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging test today in Houston.
"Right now it hurts when I try and do something with it," Carr said. "If I leave it at my side, it's OK. I couldn't really raise my arm above my shoulder."
