All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

i actually like the 2 minute powerplay idea. Its kinda cool. i wouldn't expand the ice surface. Make the goalie equipment smaller. Lots more goals will be scored.

Brett Hull as Commish, that would be sweet I think. Since he KNOWS what can be done to make the game better for everyone seeing that he has experienced it first-hand.

There's nothing better than a breakaway, so why not give every game a chance to see 10 in a row!!! The best of the best!! Some people say it puts all the weight of the team on your 5 best skaters and your goalie... but what's wrong with that? If the teams as entire teams can't decide a victor, see who's got the best of the best!!!
Getting rid of "obstruction" - hockey is a two-way game, offense & defense. Other than the Oilers hiccup in the 80's, defense wins championships, always has.
2 minute power plays - 1 goal is enough punishment
Shootout - come on...is it hockey or soccer ?
1 Referee - 2 ref system has cut down on the cheap shots behind the play
Brett Hull - That's like putting Don Cherry in the post. Just stupid.
Like;
Enlarging the ice surface. - you want a skating game that stresses skill and puck movement ? This will give it to you
Not mentioned;
If you get rid of the centre line, then hockey becomes ringette.
You'd have one defenseman in the offensive zone and one hanging back as a free safety to stay in front of the floaters.

Make Ice Surface BIGGER,
Put Regulations on the ICE (SO You dont play on Hard Ice One Night and When You Go ON the Road to another Teams Ice You Play on SLURPEE),
Leave Obstruction alone But Put a Crack Down on Official Consistancy),
ALLOW REVIEW OF CALLED PENALTIES!!!! (in case the REF calls Some B.S. Call),
Make Goal Pads Smaller or Net a Bit Bigger,
Stop Coaches From Subjecting Players to Endless hours of Video tape when they should be Practicing / working out (cough -lindy ruff - cough)
