Fine. Why no info on the leading passer in the nation? Texas Tech QB BJ Symons 6'2" 215 5106 yds 155 qb rating

Also missing Heisman Trophy candidates. White not included and Rivers @ 9.

good write ups.. but rivers and van pelt deserve one too!

and you could have left off pickett, harris, and the pit qb.. they are pole smokers.. add the qb from usc too.. product of the system... palmer will end up proving that probably next year for cincy.

Manning sounds a lot like Bledsoe... is that good or bad?

well personally I think the bills should have a more mobile QB he doesnt have to be a vick but more mobile than Drew.

Ben Roethlisberger is most definetly the #2 QB in the QB draft class. I have not seen him play too much myself except for the BGSU-MIA game, where I was pleased with that I saw, but I do have some stats on him.

Passing
Year Cmp-Att Pct Yds TD INT
2001 241-381 .633 3105 25 13
2002 271-313 .633 3238 22 11
2003 215-313 .687 2537 18 8
Totals 727-1122 .648 8880 65 32

Rushing
Year Att Yds TD Avg
2001 120 189 3 1.6
2002 82 -54 1 -0.6
2003 41 84 2 2.0
Totals 243 219 6 0.9

Hope that helps I like this kid alot but not sure we should spend 1st round pick on a QB, knowing Bledsoe will be there next season.

Why not put Rivers at #9? B.c he is yet to win the big game. He has come close twice this season vs. FSU and OSU. But he hasnt won the big game, and Im not convinced he can. Hes not more athletic than Rutherford or any of the other QB's listed above him (except maybe Smoker). After I finished #10, the board really heated up with QB draft talk so I threw this out there to you guys, have no fear all QB's will have write ups come May. Rivers is not a QB I want for this team. He is a good player but not somebody I see as a future star in the league. He needs to win the big games, and has to fix his mechanics. Thats why hes not in the top 10.

Pickett I agree should be dropped in the rankings probably to out of the top 10. Harris and Rutherford in no way should drop below ten and Id venture to put Harris as high as #5. Dont know what you meant by Smoker and I have to take a harder look out west on the next set, b.c of the Texas Tech kid and the USC kid. I completely overlooked both players but we all know stats arent everything. Thanks for pointing that out Tatonka.

He will be in the next rankings I guarantee that. Just due to lack of mainstream news he didnt make it. I threw these together in about a week. So I was pressed for time. Sorry and thanks for the pointers.

Eli is more mobile and has a much quicker release. His decision making is above Bledsoe's too. He still needs to get better at feeling the rush coming on him and taking fewer sacks, but hes better than Blew. IMO.

I agree wholeheartily with that assement. Josh Harris is my personal favorite and Its because hes big 6-3 238, and he can run.

Harris Stats:

2000 23-48 .479 243 0 2
2001 81-133 .609 1022 9 3
2002 198-353 .561 2425 19 11
2003 177-272 .651 2285 13 9
Totals 479-806 .594 5975 41 25

Rushing
Year Att Yds Avg TD
2000 69 292 4.2 2
2001 126 614 4.9 8
2002 187 737 4.0 20
2003 106 390 3.7 7
Totals 487 2033 4.2 37

He may not be on the table when we get to him the only thing I question is his speed at 242 how quick even but I have not seen one of his games from his stats he can move the ball around well and can pick up a few on the ground if needed. I wonder if we could pick up josh harris in 3rd maybe 4th round and develope him what kind of QB he could be? I just dont like pure rushing QB's like vick, they should be able to move around and if needed tuck it and run but look for the open WR first. though Vick was getting better about staying in the pocket and throwing instead of just running all the time.

Supposedly this season he has been looking to bass first alot more than running, his running stats are way down this year which is a sign of his commitment to passing.

That was a great article...thanks.

I thought Smoker would go a little higher, but with the off field problems last year I guess he won't. He did bring back the Spartans this year though.

I'm glad to see Navarre down in the middle rounds, he just doesn't seem to have that intensity away from home. I think that won't translate well in the NFL.
