View Full Version : We are only 3 point dogs this week

Does that surprise anyone else?

Look at what the Raiders did to Tenn on Sunday, and we enter the game 3 point dogs.

The Las Vegas bookies are pretty smart when it comes to handicapping.

The Raiders are allowing only 56 yrds per game on the rush. On the other hand, they are allowing an average of 243 yards passing, which should be the difference in the game.

Perhaps that is why we are only 3 point dogs.

Thoughts...

But, I still think we will win this one. The Vegas bookies still do NOT believe we are the REAL thing yet. This week we show them!:10:

I also think we're 3-1 ATS.

BTW, keep in mind that the Raiders' beaten opponents' combined record this year is 3-8.

They're overrated!!!

P.S. Rice will be 40 in a week!

Their secondary is banged up. That will definitely help.

No we're not the real thing yet, but last time I checked those Dolphins did not overwhelm against those Chiefs.

Hey cree, billy was just being realistic like a lot of us are.

We know we have a few more holes to fill before we become the REAL DEAL.

Do not dis his opinion, or his alleigence to his team.

My Grandfather is a Raiders fan (I'm in central Ca - or Raider Nation). The old fart's talking a little trash. I think I'll have to stroll back by his house after I collect my $20 bucks from another Raiders fan who I bet on this week's game, and tell him that I decided to spare his wallet because he's family. I made a few bets this year that the Bills would go all the way - but I covered them with bets that I couldn't lose - like the Bills finishing with a better record then the Cowboys, the Bills finishing with a better record then the Titans.

The record of the Raiders' opponents isn't real good, but the record of Buffalo's opponents isn't the stuff of which playoffs are made. Our two wins were against Chicago (2-1 before we be them) and Minnesota, now 0-4. We lost to a good team and a lousy team. I don't think it makes much difference. Sports journalists probably shouldn't penalize the Raiders too much for the lack of competence of their opponents. I think they respect the explosiveness of our Bledsoe led offence. I feel like the three point dog role is a complement to the Bills at this point. That happens to be the margin by which I've been picking a Bills loss. I'll be thrilled if I'm wrong.
