Titans tight end Frank Wycheck surveyed the Georgia Dome field before kickoff yesterday, trying to figure out the exact spot where Kevin Dyson was tackled at the end of Super Bowl XXXIV.
Confetti didn't drop from the ceiling during Tennessee's first visit since that heartbreaking loss to the St. Louis Rams, but someday the Titans might look back at yesterday's 38-31 victory over the Atlanta Falcons and talk about its significance as well.
At the least, it was a huge step in helping them reach their goals for this season.
''This was a character game,'' Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said. ''I'm proud of the guys.''
