Way back in September, after Marc Bulger replaced Kurt Warner at quarterback against San Francisco, coach Mike Martz said the situation was not set in stone, and could be subject to evaluation on a weekly basis.
Ten weeks later, Marc Bulger is the man. No ifs, no ands, no buts. It is becoming increasingly apparent that the only way Warner will play this season is if Bulger gets hurt.
"Let me put it to you like this," Martz told reporters Monday. "I'm going to say it for one final time . . . so that you'll never ask me this question again, OK? Marc Bulger's our quarterback. Marc Bulger is our quarterback. I have great confidence in him. I trust him. I think he's going to be just fine. So we're staying with Marc."
