    Del Rio pondering QB switch

Looking for ways to jump-start an offense that has scored one touchdown in the last two games, Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Monday he may start David Garrard Sunday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
"To be honest with you, I am giving some thought to David Garrard," Del Rio said in the wake of the team's 13-10 loss to the New York Jets Sunday.

"I'm not ready to announce one way or the other right now. I would prefer to meet again with the staff [before making the announcement]," he said.

Rookie Byron Leftwich, who has gone 2-6 in his eight starts, has tested Del Rio's patience by turning the ball over 18 times on 12 interceptions and six lost fumbles.
