The Bills today announced that the team has signed running back Ken Simonton to the 53-man roster as a free agent. He had been terminated from the practice squad on Wednesday.

Simonton, who appeared in two games earlier in the season, fills the roster vacancy that was created when wide receiver Sam Aiken was placed on Injured Reserve earlier this week..

Would have submitted it to BZ but submission bookmark is not bookmarked at work.

I wonder if Sammy's knee is reason he was reactivated?

Sorry about not postinglink; nothing in it but what I posted.

I noticed they released him from PS on Wednesday and resigned him on Friday. Since Thanksgiving was between those days any team which wanted to sign him would have had to do it on that day. I do not know if they had any concerns (there are a number of teams missing players right now) but if they were it was ideal time.

Either they're planning on resting Henry for the remainder of the season, or Sammy is having a hard time recovering.

Well, according to what I heard on WNSA on the way home from Buffalo yesterday, Sammy DID miss Friday's practice, along with Mike Pucillo.

Not just that...there is an extra roster spot on the team since they put Sam Aiken on IR. :D

They could have left him on PS and not activated anyone. It is just one less player to put on inactive list unless he is not activated.
