Interesting-

I seriously doubt the Bills will pick a TE in Rd 1, especially one not named Winslow-

DE, DT, OL, WR, FS are all needs as well as a QB of the future

I really like the information on all of the players don't get me wrong but I know for a fact that I have read the exact some information on some of the players at other websites.

Do that many people really think a TE is the number 1 answer to our multiple problems?

I would hope not. That's one position we seem to be ok at. Then again, we were more than set at RB in the 2003 draft.

Well fellow bills fans never get your hopes up. Besides it is just a mock draft...NO DRAFT IS 100% ACCURATE and that is a fact.

But these mocks are only focused on teams needs. Don't get me wrong, ANYTHING can happen in ANY NFL DRAFT in this draft and future drafts.

And after seeing the Florida Vs Florida State game last night...with me seeing TE Ben Troupe in action he is a powerhouse and a BALANCED type Tight End that can receive and is a powerful blocker.

Mostly if I had to compare him to a TE in the NFL today I would have to say Denvers hall of famer Tight End Shannon Sharpe.

But anyways, the mock will always change and update from time to time. But if it is one thing WE ALL HAVE LEARNED that is ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN THE NFL DRAFT AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT.

Always remember that fellow bills fans.

Also our biggest needs this offseason are the following:

1) Offensive line

2) QB

3) TE

4) FS

5) WR

6) DT

7) DE

8) CB

I'd knock TE down to #8 on that list and DE up to #3.
We're OK at TE and hurting in the pass rush department.

That is were Free Agency comes in on DE.

But why would TE be ranked so high as a need? We have three than can play and two of them, while not superstars, have started for us and done well. Campbell was even extended this year so he isn't going anywhere.

You are correct but how TD's do our TE's have? Also Travis Henry extended as well and we drafted Willis McGahee.

I'll lay the lack of production more on the scheme and Drew than the TEs themselves. Kinda hard to get TDs and catches when you aren't utilized or thrown to.

Your rankings on need ...uh...need work.

You have to list our positions of need BEFORE FA starts- you never know what will happen. You could get Kearse in FA, or spend the money on a WR, Woodey & Winfield. You never know what will happen. Getting a Woodey (no pun intended) for Center allows you to move Teague to Guard, fixing that spot.

My need list

1) DE- Need a guy to put pressure on the QB
2) G- Get rid of Pucillo
3) C- Teague isn't a natural center- move him to guard if #2 isn't filled
4) CB (Depends on Winfield resigning)
5) FS- Prouleau and Reese do nothing for me
6) DT- Adams & Williams getting up in years
7) Backup- future QB - AVP is finished, need to replace Drew
8)WR- Replace Price
9) FB (depends on Gash resigning)

TE is nowhere on the list- Unless you want Gilbride to stay (and you need psychiatric help if you do ) gthen you don't have a need for a Winslow at TE.

I would spend our #1 pick on any of my top 7 needs- best and highest rated player available when our turn comes

Nay dozer our biggest need is OFFENSIVE LINE...another DE can come in rounds 2 - 7 if need be...Kearse is not thee answer for our bills DE department due to lack of injuries and will be salary cap trouble that will only hurt us in offseasons to come down the road.

Without proper offensive line personel...then expect bledsoe to not have a good day against elite opponents defenses. This 0-line is ok & medicore to the run..but pass coverage is KILLING bledsoe and from what I hear we are Ranked in the top 6 teams to have their QB sacked because of lack of pass protection.

Opponents defenses are not scared nor do they respect our 0-line because they know we cannot stop the pass rush.

My needs are good..they may not be accurately correct, but they are predictable.

We either have a shot at the following 1st round position:

QB/TE/FS/DT

Atleast 1 of those will be our 1st overal selection all the way.

And do look for TD INC in free agency to try to snag up Patriots C Damien Woody & a possible OT/OG Tate/Villari leaving the drafting options limited to:

QB/TE/DT/WR/FS

And this draft will be loaded with talent at CB/QB/WR/DT/S.

Plus we could use a solid kicker on special teams and another return specialist by WR antonio brown.

By the way...expect the K.G.B agent to be gone this offseason as well as half of our coaching staff & GW's as well to heed way for MUCH better coaching talent. :chat:
