The San Diego Chargers placed cornerback Tay Cody on injured reserve Thursday with a broken and dislocated big toe and signed rookie cornerback Kevin House from the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.
Cody, a second-year pro, was hurt while covering the opening kickoff of Sunday's 21-14 win over New England.
