William Green's season almost certainly is over and his future with the Browns remains in question in light of the NFL's announcement Tuesday that his suspension has been extended indefinitely.
Green, 23, missed the last four games after the league suspended him Nov. 8 for violating his treatment program under the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Commissioner Paul Tagliabue will decide when Green can play again, in consultation with the treatment program's medical experts.
