If the shoe fits, Jeff Wilkins might be wearing it again this week.
For the first time in his career, the St. Louis Rams kicker decided to go barefoot this year. But he has missed three of his first seven attempts, including a potential game-winning 49-yarder that hit the right upright late in last week's 13-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
So Wilkins is considering going back to his old style in an effort to correct whatever flaw he has developed -- and to get himself out of the spotlight.
