    Can we beat Tennessee?

Our D is playing lights out. Our passing D is #5 in the league in percent completion allowed, Our rushing D is #7. Although Tennessee has the #5 passing offense in the league, but McNair seems to be really banged up. And their rushing offense is terrible (#26 in the league).

Our offense is playing much better now that Gilbride finally saw the light and runs Henry up and down the field. But Tennessee does have the #1 rushing D in the league.

Not that it matters now that playoffs is pretty much out of the picture, but we're still playing for pride (and GW's job).

I say it'll be a much closer game than it shows on paper.

That's the problem, we probably can't run against the #1 rushing D in the league. Edge had a couple of TDs yesterday but was limited in yards. And they had to respect the pass from Manning. On the other hand no way they'll respect Drew with the pass.

I say we win, and Henry gets another 100. Hopefully Drew won't have to throw more than 20-25 passes.
Leads? Yeah, sure. I'll...uh...just check with the boys down at the crimelab. Yeah, they got four more detectives on the case....we're working in shifts!"

Their running game will be the X-factor, If our down line can control the LOS, that will free our backers up to either blitz or drop into coverage. ACC

I was listening to the game yesterday and it seemed their DL was dropping all over the place due to injury. McNair was limping due to his calf, Hearst anlkle and a few more.

If the Titans' special teams fumble 3 times and we can run the ball in doing so keep McNair and co. off the field. We can win.

Danny Smith: Be careful with that Music City Miracle.

Isn't the Titans DC GW's understudy when he was there? Maybe he can fugure out a way to manipulate the Titans D. I doubt GW can outcoach even his understudy, but who knows?

Sam Adams would need to step up again against Eddie Geroge. This game IMO is winnable. If the fins can beat them , so can we. We lost to the Colts in the last qtr.

If the coaches stay out of the way we have a chance to win ANY game.

Very interest point justa. I forgot all about the GW-Tennessee connection.

Hopefully GW can pull a Lawyer Milloy, giving us all the inside info on the Titans team.

The Tennessee defensive stat against the run is mislesading.

They have scored close to 30 points a game- and usually have led early and by a wide margin. Teams abandon the run against the Titans.

Didn' the Jets run decently on the Titans?

That would be a no Martin rushed for 67 yards with a 2.8 yard average.

I think the Titans are a hurting group. McNair calf is hurting so he is about as mobile as a healthy Bledsoe right now and has not looked like his MVP self since before his injury. George is a shadow of his former self and the defense is hurting so yes I think we can win.
