Just got the news, check it out and give me some feedback on your opinion...

http://sabres.com/pressbox/index.php?nID=89

Thankfully Noronen wasn't sent down, but neither was Biron, and this will provide some interesting future games...

I also disagree with this move because this will only make more of a goaltending controversy and will allow for less playing time for all the goalies and never give the time for one goalie to stick out and become consistent...

Stupid Sabres staff...

Hmm could mean something is up and a possible trade is on it's way and coming let's pray. We need another top 3 line forward or a tough gritty defensemen!

Correct and that is what I think as well, but isn't the trade deadline sometime is March?!

After Saturday, I've seen enough of Biron. Maybe Lindy has too.

Doesn't this mean this is one of Miller's last options?

Trade is imminent- I bet with Colorado - Bruins need a goalie too but they won't deal with a divisional foe

Same thing happened with the Leafs @ 3 weeks ago, they were carrying three goalies (Balfour, Telqvist & Kidd) They eventually sent Telqvist to St. Johns. I thought a trade was imminent, but nothing happened.

You'll probably see Biron sent down shortly.

That's the thing Biron and Noronen can't be sent down they would have to pass through waivers and I highly doubt that would happen. Unless they were sent down on a conditioning stint if they were coming off the injured list I beleive. I sure as hell hope whatever the trade we get something besides "future" considerations for it.

One of them will magically "injure" themselves to avoid waivers.

It hurt me to watch Biron Saturday. Does that count?

Ruff won't trade Biron, he is in love with him...

If the decision were up to Lindy, Mika would have been gone already but thank god for general managers...:couch:

"future" considerations

I'm still waiting for our "future considerations" from the Hasek deal!

SO is he going to play vs the wings?

I doubt Biron will, if not miller then it should be Noronen.

It's about time.

Biron was atrocious on Saturday, and Mika wandered way too much in the last game against Phoenix.

I can not see Biron being anymore than a #2 in this league. He lets in way too many soft goals to be a #1...If he hasn't shown it by now he never will...I agree with EE Biron was astrocious on Saturday...

Honestly, I think this was a ploy by Ruff to signal to Biron that he better get his **** together or he isn't playing. Back in, I think the 2000-2001 season, both Hasek and Roloson were really struggling, especially Dom. Lindy brought up Marty and played him that next game. It was a statement to Dom to suck it up and start playing like he could. Marty is better than we've seen (although i agree with EE, i've seen enough) and Ruff shouldn't stand for his play...

I think Miller will start a game or two and be sent down again...

It better signal a ****ing trade ASAP I'm tired of inconsistent goaltending play!:madcurse:
