Wow. Look at all the UFA CB's. No wonder TD is in no hurry to re-up Winfield.

All 5 of those UFA C's are way better than what we have now.

I think Brock Guiterrez is as good a candidate at center as Bober or Fontenot and I know Cory Withrow is as good a candidate, if not better.

At DE, I would include James Hall of Detroit as a candidate also.

At S, there's some nice choices there in the RFAs. I wouldn't mind seeing Adrian Wilson here. He's been okay in Arizona, especially since they went out and picked up Jackson from Tampa Bay. I also like Darius, though he would be pricey. Antuan Edwards wouldn't be a bad choice, same with Mike Green (might also be pricey).

I agree, except I wouldn't mind getting Tai Streets at WR either.
Lindell is fine too. Stover isn't much of an upgrade.

Given those choices, I'd still go outside those five and go after Withrow. It gives us a good center who has starting experience at 3 OL positions and frees up $ to go after a pass rusher and another WR (I'd wait to see what comes out of the June 1st cuts for WR).

Kearse would be automatic were it not for the injuries and the extrememly high price he'll command. We can find a less expensive option that will be productive elsewhere.

I don't know why you don't think there aren't good safety prospects in this list. I'm not saying we have to get one, but there are good choices there if they're not too expensive. Of course, I'd rather see us draft Sean Taylor, but that's becoming more of a pipe dream with our 6-7 record. He'll be a top 10 pick and right now, we're not in the top 10.

Kearse will probably be tagged. I'll take Hicks at DE.

I agree on Kearse...my only point with the safety was that I didn't think it was a priority...other position in need of great help.

                          True, but ...

IF (and it's a really big IF) you could use your top pick on Sean Taylor, you should do it. Why? He's the best athlete in the draft! There's NO offensive lineman worthy of a pick high enough to acquire Taylor. Not when you compare the OL to Taylor; no way!! Plus, we can get quality interior OL in rounds 2 & 3. Guys like Stephen Peterman and Chris Kemoeatu (I've been very high on these 2 and I would LOVE to see one/both of them in Buffalo next year!!) will be there and are excellent options.

I don't think we will have a pick high enough to get Taylor...but I would seriously consider him.
