BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Sabres goaltender Mika Noronen suffered a cut to his neck during practice on Monday and will miss the team's game Wednesday against Detroit.

This was the "mysterious injury" that I said would happen that will allow him to be sent down to the minors without clearing waivers.

I'm just glad it isn't as bad as it could have been. He's pretty lucky..

in the AHL i think MUNRO (ECHL->AHL) Was brought up to tryout for The AHL (NORFOLK ADMIRALS) and had his throat sliced in prace by a stick.
