Mair suspended one game

New York Rangers defenseman Boris Mironov was suspended two games without pay and Buffalo Sabres center Adam Mair drew a one-game suspension by the NHL on Saturday, one night after being involved in a high-sticking incident.

What Mironov did wasn't that bad, I don't think. But Mair definitely took a run at Boris.

He must've made contact on that run he took at him near the end of the Rangers game. He was a regular screw-up that night, wanting to retaliate anytime he was checked. It was awful, watching him throw a fit after being hit.
