SB XXV was the most wrinching just because it was the Super Bowl but the Tennessee Music City miracle was the game I was most pissed about...

I'm going with the Music $#!tty Miracle, or HomerunRobtheBills as the Refs like to call it. Simply because of the dynamics of what went on that year during the playoffs - We beat the Colts in a meaningless game in the last game of the regular season - we go into Tennessee and get beat by a $#!tty call - nothing more IT WAS A FORWARD PASS. the Titans pull one off against the Colts - who have yet to win a playoff game with Peyton Manning at the Helm - looks good for us so far since our D was playing extremely good at this time. all that would have had to happen was Jacksonville to choke in the conference championship game then we meet the Rams in the superbowl - the same rams that were held to 12 points by the Bucs with their #4 overall ranked D (guess what, we had the #1 and the greatest Bills D of all time), but we still had a better O then the Bucs (who got robbed on a call towards the end of the game when the refs ruled a shaun king pass incomplete that was clearly caught)

I say if we didn't get screwed in Tennessee, we would have a superbowl ring (if the coaches put Flutie back in).

Not to mention, Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, and Thurman Thomas would have got what no other players to suit up in the NFL deserve more but don't have - Rings.

Phil Hansen and Henry Jones and Thomas Smith as well for that matter.

Why did Phil Hansen retire? We need him!

Super Bowl 25...the year we were the best team in all of football, and still managed to lose the Super Bowl.

That '79 season opener in a monsoon against the fish was a killer too. If only Dempsey had made that kick....

id have to say SB 25 even though i was young i can still remember watching it and just putting my head down i only remember the kick really i sometimes bring out the game and watch it and it just kills everytime. music city miracle sucked i punched so much crap after today i was so angry it felt just like that not as strong but its makes u lose interest after bad calls atleast for me.

Wide right.

Second would be the Ronnie Harmon drop against Cleveland in the playoffs the year before the Super Bowl run.

i wonder how many types of antidepressants Scott Norwood has tried since SBXXV?

No doubt it was Super Bowl XXV, but my second vote would be the Ronnie Harmon drop in the endzone at Cleveland. All those years of being horrible, the team finally gets into a big game and he drops the ball.

SB 25, nothing else compares. If you looked up "heartbreak" in the dictionary it would say "Superbowl XXV" next to it. Of all our sb years, that was OUR year, we shoulda had that one. and not only that but to lose by a point in the last seconds of the game.

I want an SB victory so bad just to erase the sad feelings about that one.

Except for a few idiots who don't understand the game and his capabilities, he was treated rather well considering. If people would remember how many times he won games for us instead of concentrating on a missed FG that he wasn't expected to make anyway, he'd likely start showing up for those Alumni Days.
