Can someone who has experience in this please explain the new parking policy? Do they only open it 1 hour before the game or something now?

League rules say they aren't supposed to open the lots until 4 hours before kickoff. Last week was the first time I can remember that Buffalo complied with the rule to the letter. So, it looks like the lots will open at 8:05 am.

BTW, the Helmet Crew will be in our usual spot along Drive 1 (off Big Tree Road). We're directly across the lot from the Red Pinto. Stop by and hang out with us. I'm making Buffalo Wing Soup.

When did this new rule about the parking lots opening start?

Let me get this straight, the parking lots don't open until 9am now? Will you guys be parking in the same place as the opener and the Skins tailgate? I'll be alone and on foot, so I'll need to know where to go.

J7: You can meet us at Louie's on Transit for breaksfast and then go to the game with the entire group

Valerie

No I can't. My ride from my hotel isn't going to Louie's.

I'm assuming it's because they don't know any of you and would feel awkward.

When you guys decide where in the parking lot you'll be meeting, let me know. Or don't tell me so I don't show up. I don't care either way.

Technically, the rule has always been in place but it was first enforced in Buffalo at the last home game

Which lot are you planning on parking at? Our usual BillsZone tailgate? Or somewhere else? Let me know. I am going to be driving up there Sunday morning.

I'm not sure. But we can have breaksfast at Louie's and then drive down to the stadium as a group. We can even leave a car or two at Louie's (Hot dog lady has given us permission) and then drop people off after the game.

Can we get a map and/or directions to Louies? What time you planning on meeting there? What time you planning on leaving for the lot? :feedback:

Is hot dog lady her real name? Maybe next year I will have all my bills paid and can come up to a game. I will ask which games ya'll will attend when the schedules are released.

We'll make sure to save some of the soup for ya; provided, of course that our resident chow muscles (Mikey, Phil) don't get carried away!

Get off Thruway at exit 49, Transit Rd. take Transit Rd south until you see Louie's on the right side (about 5-7 miles). If you hit French Rd, you went too far, turn around and go back about 1/4 mile :)

No silly, that's not her real name. I'm not gonna reveal it on the boards without her permission. :shakeno:

Hopefully you can come to a game next season :)
