BILLS SAFETY MAY MISS REST OF NFL SEASON
(Orchard Park-AP) -- Buffalo Bills safety Izell Reese tore his left calf and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Coach Gregg Williams says it would be tough for Reese to play in either of Buffalo's final two games, but he said the team hasn't yet made a decision on whether to place Reese on injured reserve.
Reese was running on his own to make a tackle when he felt his calf muscle pop during the second quarter of Sunday's 28-to-26 loss at Tennessee. Reese was helped off the field and did not return.
An offseason free-agent acquisition, the six-year veteran replaced Pierson Prioleau as the Bills starting free safety five games into this year.
