"I haven't talked to any teams," Saban said during a luncheon Thursday. "I don't intend to talk to any teams. We're happy to be here."

Looks like the only way any team is gonna get him is to offer him $$$$. Since RW is not one to pay a lot for a coach, bills fans can forgetaboutit.

Oh well. I really don't want to fight over someone either. Our team is pretty damn talented IMO with the right coaches we can do some things!:)

Maybe he is just saying that because his team is playing for the National Championship and he wants no distractions.

Remember when Parcells said he and Jerry Jones only had a friendly chat and did not talk about a coaching job?

I'm leaning towards a coach w/ experience in the league. This team does not need to rebuild. A college coach would be in rebuilding mode.

Funny thing but, on Friday, when a wire story suggested that Nick Saban has no interest in any of the openings to which he has been linked, the LSU coach phoned a former colleague to see if he would be interested in being on his staff, should he accept an NFL position.
