    Kudos for Coy Wire

It might look like Tomlinson and Brady got snubbed in Pro Bowl balloting, but here are the real snubs.

Punts: Kudos to Buffalo second-year safety Coy Wire. The former Stanford star lost his starting job when the Bills acquired Lawyer Milloy just days before the start of the regular season. But Wire has become a standout player on the kicking teams and last week had six special teams tackles. ...

How left guard Ruben Brown of the Buffalo Bills continues to be a perennial choice is a mystery. The nine-year veteran has been living off his reputation for too many seasons. At least two left guards, Edwin Mulitalo of Baltimore and Kansas City's Brian Waters, had better years. For that matter, so did Cincinnati rookie Eric Steinbach, a second-round pick who helped solidify the Bengals' blocking unit.

I was going for a positive note, but have to agree about Ruben.

I hear Coy might start in place of Reese on Sunday. I'm happy for him, he's handled this season with class.
Jay Fiedler should be very afraid.

Wire would be an excellent replacement at FS. Under Milloy's tutelage, he has the ability to become a force to be reckoned with. He is a dedicated player who never complains, but rather tries to help the team in any capacity he can.

Clump saying that Coy is hot disturbs me.
