I didn't get to watch the game but was watching on NFL Game Center. How'd TB do that? I know he's not a good qb, but he came in and threw three straight completions for decent yardage. Could somebody give me an explanation?

Miami probably didn't know what to do with a QB who can get rid of the ball.

um, 20-3 with less than 3:00 to go...I could have completed 3 in a row...do you think Miami cared about anything but going home at that point?

I'm sure they wanted to make a statement and not give up another touchdown.

yeah it was a prevent D- all they were doing was guarding against the big play. Sure it took some skill, but Miami certainly wasn't playing their toughest defense.

whatever  did ya notice Travis Henry was able to run on them in the 4th quarter but couldn't do squat in the first? Same reason.

So Miami took it easy in the fourth. I guess that makes our offense so pathetic it couldn't even mount a comeback and score a touchdown?

I guess Miami backing off the the run to stop a comeback didn't have anything to do with that.

Our O hasn't made a legit comeback attempt all year. I don't have the stats in front of me, but I can't recall a single successful 2 minute drill either at the end of a half or at the end of the game all season.

I haven't seen too many 2 minute drills all year come to think of it.

I will say that he avoided that would be sack! That’s something we haven’t seen much of. I’ll give the guy credit, he played well. It’s not nearly enough to anoint him the next BIG thing, but he played well.

Apparently management sees something in him! They keep bringing him back.

And for all of you Travis Brown lovers, Save it, There is NO WAY in a MILLION Years that this guy could have been our guy at the beginning of last season. Not a chance! But 2 more years of practice and whatnot, maybe this guy can be a decent number 2 and dare I say a possible number 1.

Saying all of that, I am in NO WAY, ready to go into next season, which could be our big season, with an unproven Travis Brown as our starter.

That's why I say give him the last game and see what he does. Either move him up to #2 for next year or ship him out.

Start him, do anything to give us a descent chance to have something to cheer about! I mean the guy pulled off more yards in less than a minute than we did the entire 1st half, that alone should give him a shot.
