DAVIE, Fla. -- The Miami Dolphins found themselves in an unusual position Monday: getting ready for a game without any postseason implications.

Miami was eliminated from the playoffs Sunday night when Denver beat Indianapolis, marking the first time since 1989 the team missed the postseason in consecutive seasons.

The Dolphins are out!
