I like his style and intensity of his players.

Didn't they say that about GW when he was with Tennessee?

Yeah... I want someone with head coaching experience.

Damn it we should've gotten John Fox. He's doing it with much less talent.

He's be good if he'd just change his first name.

Lovie Smith has done an unbeleivable job in STL ... id just rather have an offensive minded coach take over so that if something goes wrong with the offense, he can take over the playcalling.

I don't remember FOX having any head coaching experience.

No, but at the time our candidates were GW, Marvin Lewis and John Fox. None of them had HC experience. And we got the worst one of them all.

What are our choices now?

Fassell, Green,???? I am not big on any of the guys available with experience.

I'd be happy with Coughlin, Holmgren or even Green. Fassel is okay.

There is a reason these guys with head coaching experience dont have a job right now. I do think they are pretty good coaches, but the only way your going to get a great coach is if you take a chance on a guy who hasnt been a HC. I know we got burnt on it before, but look at what the top two canidates that year have done with their teams. I believe Lovie Smith would be a great pick, and it doesnt matter that hes a defensive minded coach, if hes a good one he'll pick a compotent OC.

Exactly!!!

Coughlin is going to the Giants.
Green is a decent I guess
Holmgren isn't going to happen(I don't want to change to wco anyways)

Isn't Lovie Smith the favorite for the Atlanta job since the new GM of Atlanta, Rich McKay, was the GM of Tampa and that's where Lovie Smith coached prior to St. Louis so they have a good woking relationship from I understand?

Possibly I am not sure. I am just saying he is my #1 choice also.

Inside the NFL said that Green looks like he may be the first choice for Atlanta. I think he has had past experiance with the Blank family.

Lovie would be a good choice. I'd take Fassel as well. This is really the first bad season he's had. I don't care who comes, just get rid of Gregg.

Sometimes it takes a couch a while to find his niche. Belichek was fired by the Browns, Tony Dungy was fired by the Bucs, so it does happen. If the Bills are going to go with a former NFL head coach Fassel would not be a bad choice, and Dennis Green is intriguing.

Is Ferentz available?
