This poster pulls this every few months or so! He has to be very pleased right now by the performance of the team and of a few of the players! \
I’m just wondering if they are gone or if it’s one of those Lurking/PM’ing everybody type things!

He left because he was harrased all the time. Got sick of the derogitory comments made by some people. He did a lot for this site and didn't deserver to be chased away.

I seeit more as a mental breakdown. You see, that person is an obsessive compulsive. The compulsion was to prove points that were not black and white. Prove those points to passionate fans who wouldn’t budge or who see more than what meets the eye stat wise. So combine some intelligence (one track I must add) along with a debilitating mental illness, you’ve got yourself a disaster in the making.
So you say harassed, chased away. I prefer to see is as a lack of coping skills. The person just couldn’t cope.
The same compulsive obsession was engaged when trying to promote Rob Johnson. The same compulsive obsession was clear when this person was heavily favored Bryson over Henry. And deemed Sam Adams a bust before the first whistle.

There are medications out there that can help manage the illness. So if you all who care enough to defend him quit enabling the self-destructive behavior, maybe that person can get professional help and be welcomed back and contribute to the message board in a productive way.

Thank you. I had a neighbor suffer from mental illness. I know first hand the signs and symptoms. He was a real nice guy too. What a shame. Some people don’t understand it. What’s worse is some people, in the spirit of trying to be friendly, just want to pretend it doesn’t exist. They are called enablers. And they are just as damaging to the person’s mental state than the pathology that’s causing the illness to begin with. It’s a vicious cycle. I’m glad there are people like you and me who tackle the problem head on and care enough to address the problem instead of allowing it to continue unchecked.

I was OK with him for awhile, but the guy was wrong 80% of the time. and the 20% of the time he was right he wanted us to all kiss his ass!
Then when he snapped a few weeks ago and started sending PM’s he kinda freaked me out!
I honestly don’t think BF1 is far off in his assessment of the situation.

IN fairness to Wys I think a lot of people thought Reed would have a big year and a lot of people believed in Rob Johnson.
I am sure if someone wanted to take the time to look up old posts we would find we have all made a lot of wrong predictions.

It was fun until he ran away like a baby once. Just to come back full ofrce when the Bills dropped two in a row early on. And then wimper away again when he was contested. Face it. It's a control/coping issue.
The funniest was when he said that I should forget about asking him for tickets ever again. That was a classic! That's when I starting to see that it was more than a fun debate.

I used to work for a medical publisher. I did a lot of reading up on mental illness after my neighbor went nuts. I can only identify the illnesses, I can't solve them.

For the record, I found some of his posts to be condescending towards the end but I think that was when he was actually cutting a few down in size. Because his normal-sized ones, I almost never read. I think if he had cut the size down a long time ago, his posts might not have gotten on peoples' nerves because I think some of his posts made a lot of sense but by harping on something over and over...it got irritating.

Wys is a good guy who got treated unfairly. You wanna talk about somebody getting their head examined? You guys should get yours examined for thinking about a dude so much. Especially a dude who hasn't posted in about 2 months and now works for a different site. That isn't normal if you ask me.
If there is anybody who should leave the site it is you guys. Wys contributed more in one day then you guys ever have. You spend most of your time in the TZ posting some crock stories or making attacks at people who can't defend themselves. Them computer muscles must really be kicking in.

I agree with BillsFever to a point. Most, not everyone, but most people on the computer are phony and two-faced. You attack people on the computer because it's "safe." But, as soon as you're confronted by that person or persons, face to face, it's a different story. I've never in my life dealt with people like you. A lot of people seem to have computer muscles but in person, it's a different story.

I think both of you are missing the point. It's one thing to bitch about coaches, players, the Bills and to voice your opinion, but some of what is said is personal in nature and is cruel and directed to posters rather than coaches, players, etc.
I don't think it has anything to do with stepping back from the board. I think it has to do with being better people, which clearly is impossible for most of you.
