The Coaches nee to be held accountable for this pitiful defense

They need to rethink this very, very terrible defense, it is embarrassing. Fletcher has done nothing and is a bust. If they aren't going to get any pressure on the QB then they might as well go to zone D. This is getting disgusting and they should quit trying force this defense on the players:firehead:

Amen to that. This defense is absolutely atrocious. Fricken bring back the 3-4. At least it worked.

I totally agree with you guys. This defense doesnt work with this personel. 0 turnovers after 5 games with 2 really good cornerbacks should be a sign of that.

Not sure that GW has enough expertise to coach any other D -- all he knows is what he learnt from Fisher (who learnt it from Buddy Ryan). He has no other credentials or experience -- none.

I'm still not ready to blame Fletcher...they NEED 2 DL very badly. The lack of turnovers isn't troubling; it is very disturbing.

There is no defensive scheme that would work with our players. We'd be alot worse off with the 3-4. Who's gonna play the 4th LB....Kenyatta Wright???

Fletcher is the least of our problems. We cannot get a pass rush and when we do we give up the QB running up the middle. If drew had the time that Gannon did and vice versa, IMO it would have been 62-31 Bills.

Damn you guys....youve got some nerve!.....A.Schobel is busting his balls out there and if I remember correctly at one point he was tied in the league for sacks...Defense is not at fault....the turnovers were....and who threw them?
We wanna see you spit now!!!lets face it we suck.

                      fletcher, a bust?

deep breaths, come down. Don't say things you don't mean.

                      Fletcher is proven.

don't try to turn me against fellow Bill fans. You are a dulfelon fan and I hate you for that

back to Fletch, and the rest of the D for that matter.

I usually feel that coaching isn't as big of a deal as some people think. These are professional athletes.

However, I think it may have something to do with our problems.

No matter who coaches this unit, I think that they do not have the talent to be great. However, I think they should be good. 3/4 of the line is solid. ER has been a dissapointment, but Fletcher is above average and Newman held his own anchoring the core last year. PP seems to be consistently average. Although I like Wire, I am not sold yet. Our corners are top notch. But remember that is just what I think.

Maybe it is the system period

maybe the system is not a good fit for our players

                          maybe our players are overrated.

maybe our players that I think are good or great are, but the weak links are so bad that the good ones can't make up for it.

i don't care what they have done in the past....if they aren't playing well now...then it has no meaning...

Fletcher is NOT performing nearly as well as expected.
