Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga would not comment on the future of coach Dave Wannstedt on Tuesday, but a team source indicated that no decision on Wannstedt or anyone else with the team will be made until after the season is complete.
The Dolphins finish the season Sunday against the New York Jets at Pro Player Stadium. After that, Huizenga and top staff members, including president Eddie Jones and executive vice president Bryan Wiedmeier, will meet for several days to discuss a myriad of options.
''I can't comment on that,'' Huizenga said when asked about Wannstedt's job status.
According to team spokesman Harvey Greene, Huizenga stopped by the Dolphins' offices Tuesday and met with front-office staff, including Wannstedt.
Huizenga did want to correct the perception that there was any sense of tension between him and Wannstedt at the organization's annual Christmas party Friday.
