What would Drew get on the open market?

If we did cut Bledsoe what are your opinions of what teams would go after him and what kind of salary would he get?

I think the max he would get would be an average of 4 mill per over 3 years. Arizona would be my choice for a team that would make a run for him.

I think you are right that any contract would be full of incentives. With his recent track record he would have to expect that.

I'd agree that AZ would likely be the team to make the biggest push for him, and maybe Chicago, if they want Rex to sit for another year or so. Maybe even SD. They certainly don't seem to think Brees is their future. Anyway, I'm not sure what he'd get on the open market, but it would certainly be a lot less than he's scheduled to get in Buffalo and probably a bit more than he's really worth.

Parcells was fibbing regarding his opinion on Bledsoe. He would not tell the truth when a lie could do just as well. Remember him saying not seeking HC job while trying to get in Hall of Fame and at the same time negotiating with Tampa Bay?
