as i said in another post id take him back even if he was 90. Ill never forget watching this show a few years back and they asked 10 NFL coaches what some obscure NFL rule was, and he was the only person to get it. The man knows football. And is probably the best teacher the Bills ever had.

gibbs was out 11 years, same amount of time he was HC for Redskins. Marv has been out 7 i believe.

yeah Marv being "away from the game" or "not having contacts" is kind of a BS argument, as it really holds no weight.

TD has killed this team with his incompetence.
As Team President and GM, TD is the reason for all of the Bills troubles.
Im starting to think this also. I think what we are going to have to live through is TD's reign as GM. While I think he has a decent eye for talent on the field I think he has made some real coaching staff blunders so far. It looks as if those will continue if he hires some of the guys mentioned as favorites.
I still firmly believe TD does not want any coach who has a strong say in what goes on. He can make all the smart remarks about everyone saying how power hungry he is and making light of it. To me, I think it really bugs him that he has gotten this rep. Why? because it's true. He is a totally hands on GM. You will never see a take charge coach here in Buffalo while he is in power.
I would love Marv back btwThe Polian Curse
"They're a very special group of men. Cherish them, you will not see their like again."
February 4, 1993 Bill Polian at his closing press conferance after being dismissed as GM of the Buffalo Bills by Ralph Wilson.
