Name as many "forgotten" Bills who played for the team but are not well remembered. These are the guys that you have to really rack your brains to remember. I started being a fan in '86 so my players are relatively recent.

Al Edwards-WR
Clifford Hicks-CB
J.D. Williams-CB (1990 1st round draft pick)
Jamie Mueller-FB
Russell Copeland-WR

I was thinking Russell Copeland also. He seemed like he should have been doing ballet instead of playing football.

Perry Tuttle (WR)...Carwell Gardner (FB)...Kirby Jackson (CB)...Keith Goganious (LB)

He did have one great catch against the Pats in 1993 at Foxboro. Caught a little out=pattern from Jimbo and ran like 65 yards. The Bills came back to win that game.

The Bills drafted him, right?

Anyone pick him up after they dumped him?

Rob Johnson...ohh, umm, sorry...I thought it said Bills players that you would like to forget! My bad...

I think he bounced around to a couple teams. Billy Brooks kind of made him irrelevant in the offense.

Carwell V. Bryan Cox is still great. I forgot about Kirby Jackson!! He was a competent CB.

Absolutely. I remember my friends and I hootin' it up every time he got the ball. "BROOOOOOO!"

As I recall, they used him to spell Thurman. In '89 he averaged 4.1 YPC on 131 Attempts with 6 TDs. Not bad, but in '90 he only played 2 games, giving way to Kenny Davis, I believe.

I think the other white WR Tatonka was thinking of ( I bet Stuart Scott knows this) is Chris Walsh, who I believe is still with the Vikings. Also, in an interesting side note for Billy and Chubluv, Dan Manucci was not only a replacement player in 1987, he was actually on the roster in 1979 and 1980.

To clarify what I meant for Gabe Northern, he always seemed to make big plays on special teams and defense, blocked kicks, sacks, fumble recoveries, int's,etc. , including some returns for TD's, until he became a starter

Remember the tackle-eligible plays to Frerotte? One year I think he had 2 or 3 TD's.

What about 3rd string QB Gale Gilbert?

I was at the Vet in '96 when Northern returned a blocked punt for a TD in a Bills win. It was great to see the Iggles get beat in their own stadium!

That would be Steve Mike-Meyer. He also played for SF (75-76), Det (1977), NO (78).
