I just heard him talk to a local sports radio host (Lee Hamilton) and said that Fassil might have misjudged his position. Since he made his announcement so soon, he may have thought that with some many teams looking for a new coach, he would have his pick and thought a job would be handed to him and didn't prepare himself for ANY of his interviews. Mort went on to say that Buffalo is the front runner for his services, and that The Bears are going after Saban, but in the same breathe said ATL was going to do the same.

And last I checked, Buffalo isn't the front runner, its the ONLY runner. Hopefully the only place we see old Jimbo next season is doing pre-game analysis for FOX or CBS.

That may be the case. There is little or no interest from OAK, CHI cancelled on him, ARZ has Green, ATL has Mora Jr. Talk about a rude awakening. Unless this is a TD special.
