Charlie Weis is the next head coach of Buffalo, but TD can't officially hire him until after the Patriots have wrapped up their season.

And don't call me a liar just because I live way the hell out in Caw-lee-faohw-nya.

I don't lie.

Maybe if Buffalo hires Weis as head coach, Bill Belichick will hire Kevin Gilbride as OC. Is that too much to hope for?

"I'm thinking Weis will can him."

Weis won't get that power. Ralph likes Drew. Drew stays. (At least until November.) By then, we'll have been eliminated from the playoffs and it will be too late to do anything about the QB position.

But can/bench Drew in favor of AVP or Travis? I thought we should have many times this year, if only to see if it would wake Drew up. But it's unlikely with the current regime. If the draft comes and goes without us picking up a QB, then it's clear they want to go with Drew all the way.

Levy for Special teams coach - there would be no shame in him getting a ring as an assistant coach.

Parcells is a heckler for strong special teams.

ok we get Weis as HC he trades Bledsoe and our #1 to either SD Chargers or the Ariz. Cardinals for their #1 and a day 2 pick also, how great would that be?:feedback:

hahaha, hey can hope for their pick...........in the third round maybe. and even that isnt likely considering bledsoes salery. but thank god donahoe said himself, that he wouldnt be surprised to see us get a qb on the first day of the draft

yeah but we won't get E.M. or B.R. and they are the only QB's in this draft that will be starters in the NFL in my opinion

Bert102176

they'll be drafted way before the Bills pick

It's way deeper this season than last season's QB crop. you will get a number of good QB's out of this one

I'm kind of liking the idea of Cody Pickett for some odd reason....:ontome: Is that bad?

You can't always tell. Look at the current final 4. Manning and McNabb were obviously picked very high, but the other 2 guys weren't. Brady was a 6th round pick and Delhomee was undrafted.

Bulger went undrafted, Trent Green wasn't a high pick at all, Hassleback.......Anthony Wright, ....6 of the starters in the playoffs were either low picks or not picked at all.

Just because Weis opted to go with Brady, doesn't mean he can't work with Drew. Brady was younger and was the future. Doesn't mean Weis wanted Drew gone. One had to go.

Since RW wants Drew to stay, Weis could work with Drew and concentrate of Drews hand off skills cause that's what he'll be doing if Weis get's the job.

Or maybe we'll get a QB that can start immediately (doubtful, but we better at least draft one to start grooming with the first round).

This QB class is pretty good we don't need a QB in the first Rnd. but certainly take one on the 1st day.
