I think he was talking about the Rams. At least, he could have been. The truth is out there, but it remains beyond our reach. The truth we want to know is this: Just what is the deal with Kurt Warner?
There is no need to go into much background. Suffice it to say that Warner came out of nowhere. Well, OK, not nowhere - Northern Iowa and then the Arena League and then NFL Europe. He was on the Rams roster as a backup in early 1999 when the team had to make five players eligible for the expansion draft. Warner was one of the five expendables. The Cleveland Browns didn't want him. Instead, the Browns opted for quarterback Scott Milanovich of Tampa Bay.
