On Steelers team site LeBeau said he missed the aspect of calling defensive plays and that Steeler situation would be better.

We'll see apparently Mularkey is going to offer him the defensive coordinator position.

Is it a given he will take the position, he seemed to be pleased Pitts. was interviewing him.

I don't think he is that interested in him. He was on ESPN last night and his quote made me think he'd rather be here....

"Alot of good memories here. There could be worse places to have a job."

Cincinatti.com is saying LeBeau left Pittsburgh with an offer in hand to become Steeler DC. He has a son in the PItts. area and LeBeau actually lives in Cinnci.

That's the reason why Mularkey is offering him the DC position. :D LeBeau wants to be a DC and would most likely leave Buffalo if he doesnt get that job.

I wonder if he wants to work in a system or under a coach that isn't a proven team leader and had sucess at the HC position.

I Guess he was homesick. I thought Spikes would be enough to keep him here.
