Who cares? He still may become a great coach.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I think it was just a matter of circumstance, Tremor. Marv wasn't a big name when he got hired but was clearly the man for the job. He lasted a long time. When he left the logical choice was Wade, because he was there. But he, too, wasn't like he was in a bidding war after his stint with the Broncos. When TD came in and the three finalists were all hot coordinators, they werent going to be paid a lot of money. Look at Arthur Blank Check, who throws around money madly in Atlanta. They hired Jim Moron, Jr. and even when the other coaches were getting 3-5 mil because they were names, Mora only got 7.5 mil over 5 years, similar to what Mularkey is reportedly to get.Originally posted by Earthquake Enyart
