These are the stats drew bledsoe will have at the end of the year if he goes at this pace:

500 completions (some NFL record)
5,600 yards (NFL record)
38 TD (I believe that ties the record ??? )
16 INT (Rob was heading for 30)

Bad :bduff:

What does that have to do with the Drew stats? :D

These records will all be for naught, if we can't put together s tring of wins. It's nice to be in the record book, but I want some wins for this to be a genuine season!

the nfl record was set by marino... 48 tds in one season.. think about that... just sick.

Even though Drew has thrown several short yardage TDs already this season, and likely will not come anywhere near Marino's TD record, Dangerous Dan's TD stats are really skewed and almost should have an asterisk next to them because they ALWAYS threw it in from the 1, 2, 3, 4 yard line when almost all teams would run it in. Not saying that Marino wasn't a great QB, because he was, and it's not always so easy throwing for short TDs, but the stats are a little misleading as they often are.

That is not fair to Dan, KTD...
In 1984, when Marino set the NFL records for passing yardage (5000+) and TD passes (48) his average yards per attempt was a very sick 9+ y/attempt. That year his average TD pass was a little over 26 yards (I think... please correct me if this is wrong). In 1984 Dan had those stats without the undue influence of a WCO style attack, as he was a full participant in a wild vertical passing attack. Sure they passed from inside the 20 and he had a lot of TD passes from inside the ten. It’s just that he had a very large number of deep-ball TD passes that year.

Marino NEVER had a running game so he HAD to throw the ball ... ALOT ... which is why he had so many yards and TD's !! Marino was a great QB, he just never had a team around him.
