    Official: I Like Mike Thread

I wasn't happy when this was announced yesterday, but I am beginning to like the move the more I read about Mularkey, and think about what he had done for Pittsburgh.

Let's give the guy a chance, and if we suck after the next couple seasons, I will lead the lynch mob to his house. Agreed?

Yeah, I'm in. I'd rather have an unproven young and dynamic guy like Mike, than a proven mediocrity like Fassel or Jauron.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I'm by no means excited, but I am optimistic. I like what I see as far as his candidates for Asst. coaches.

            I'm on board.

I agree. With Fassel or Jauron you know your getting crap. I would rather roll the dice, cause hey ya never know!

I will tell you if his first move is hiring his friend the QB coach to be our OC that he is already going down the wrong path.

That is why I was saying this whole time that we need to get someone who is a proven coach because they are in a better position to bring in a talented proven staff.

The one good thing is that TD obviosly demmanded that DL stays as DC.... at least we know the D will be solid.

I don't like the hiring, but I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt for now.

I think Charlie Weiss was THE guy and TD didn't want to wait for him to become available.
